Cynthia McKinney’s and CNN’s CUNNING Lies about The Dignity Incident #FakeNews

I used to have quite a lot of time for Cynthia McKinney, however a while ago I realised that she’s quite willing and able to lie.
This is the latest example.
Please spread this around on blogs etc. – this disinfo peddled by CNN has spread across the internet like wildfire.

“Another Israeli “accident” at sea”

“Cynthia McKinney SLAMS Israeli Navy”

“Aid Ship almost sank by Israeli Vessel”

“Israelis, activists offer conflicting versions of collision”

“Egypt Criticized for Refusing to Open Gaza Crossings”
“As many countries throughout the Middle East protest the air strikes on the Gaza strip, many protests are focused on Egypt. **Egypt has offered to send humanitarian aid into areas affected by the strikes**, but has seriously restricted crossings into Egypt at the Rafah border crossing…..”

There is nothing new about this sort of propaganda hoax.

[Excerpt from comments by John Lewis starts here]

During his lifetime King witnessed the birth of Israel and the continuing struggle to build a nation. He consistently reiterated his stand on the Israel-Arab conflict, stating ‘Israel’s right to exist as a state in security is uncontestable.’ It was no accident that King emphasized ‘security’ in his statements on the Middle East.

On March 25, 1968, less than two weeks before his tragic death, he [King] spoke out with clarity and directness stating,

‘peace for Israel means security, and we must stand with all our might to protect its right to exist, its territorial integrity. I see Israel as one of the great outposts of democracy in the world, and a marvelous example of what can be done, how desert land can be transformed into an oasis of brotherhood and democracy. Peace for Israel means security and that security must be a reality.’

While I have serious concerns about John Loftus and his book (co-authored with Mark Aarons) “The Secret War against the Jews”, it nonetheless provides a significantly different perspective from most narratives on the USS Liberty incident. It is certainly worth a read for those researching this issue.
